How does the commission structure work?

WebbyTemplate offers two earning models:

• Exclusive Vendors (selling only on WebbyTemplate): Earn 75% of the sale price after taxes and payment gateway fees.
• Non-Exclusive Vendors (also selling on other platforms): Earn 40% of the sale price after taxes and payment gateway fees, with WebbyTemplate retaining 60%.

📌 Commissions are calculated after taxes and processing fees. WebbyTemplate monitors listings to enforce exclusivity and fair pricing.

How is exclusivity enforced?

WebbyTemplate monitors vendor listings both on and outside the platform. If you list a product marked as exclusive elsewhere, your account may be flagged and commission rates adjusted.

When are commissions calculated?

Commissions are calculated immediately at the time of sale but are only eligible for withdrawal after the clearing cycle (holding + processing period) is completed.

What is the minimum payout threshold?

You can request a payout once your cleared, withdrawable earnings reach $100 USD.

• Pending or on-hold funds do not count toward the threshold.
• Earnings under $100 remain in your account until you cross the limit.

Do pending or on-hold earnings count toward the $100 threshold?

No. Only cleared and withdrawable funds are eligible.

What documents are required before the first payout?

You must provide valid tax documentation and complete account verification before your first withdrawal can be processed. These requirements help ensure compliance with tax and anti-fraud regulations.

How do I withdraw my earnings?

Withdrawing funds is simple:

1. Log in to your Vendor Dashboard.
2. Ensure your cleared earnings are at least $100.
3. Complete tax and account verification.
4. Select your payout method (PayPal or Stripe).
5. Submit a payout request.

What payout methods are supported?

Currently, WebbyTemplate supports:

• PayPal
• Stripe

Payouts are processed according to the timeline of the chosen provider.

Can I change my payout method?

Yes. You can update your payout method from your Vendor Dashboard settings before submitting a withdrawal request.

How long do payouts take?

Vendor payouts follow a two-step clearing cycle:

• Holding Period: 7 days after each sale (refund coverage window).
• Processing Period: 7 additional days for payout validation.

👉 Total: About 14 days from sale to payout eligibility, plus payment provider transfer time (e.g., PayPal 1–3 business days).

Why are my funds on hold?

Funds may be on hold due to:

• The standard 7-day holding period after a sale.
• Incomplete tax or account verification.
• Suspicious activity or potential policy violations.

Can WebbyTemplate delay or deny my withdrawal?

Yes. Withdrawals may be delayed or denied in cases of:

• Incomplete or expired verification.
• Pending disputes or refunds.
• Fraud concerns, unusual activity, or policy violations.

If delayed, check that your verification is complete, you’ve passed the 14-day cycle, and policies are followed. If issues remain, contact [email protected] or use the Help Centre.

What happens if a customer requests a refund?

If a refund is approved:

• The refunded amount will be deducted from your available or pending earnings.
• WebbyTemplate may temporarily withhold a portion of your balance during dispute resolution.
• In serious or repeated cases, commissions may be reversed, and your account may be flagged for review.

Do refunds affect already-requested payouts?

Yes. If the refund relates to sales within the holding/processing cycle, your withdrawable balance will be adjusted, which may impact the next payout cycle.

When do I need to submit tax documents?

• Tax documents are required only before your first payout.
• You cannot withdraw until these are approved.
• US vendors must provide forms like a W-9; non-US vendors may need equivalent regional tax forms.

Are taxes applied to customer purchases?

Yes. Taxes (such as GST or VAT) may apply depending on the buyer’s location. Vendor commissions are always calculated after taxes and payment processing fees.

Can I sell the same item on other marketplaces?

Yes, but then the item is non-exclusive and will only earn 40% commission on WebbyTemplate instead of 75%.

What if I sell the same product at a lower price elsewhere?

This violates WebbyTemplate’s Fair Pricing Policy. Consequences include commission adjustments, delisting of products, or account penalties.

How can I avoid payout delays?

• Complete tax and identity verification promptly.
• Keep your product pricing consistent across platforms.
• Ensure your products meet quality and originality requirements.
• Respond quickly to disputes and refund requests.

Where can I see my earnings and request payouts?

You can view your earnings, pending funds, and payout history in the Vendor Dashboard. From there, you can also request withdrawals once the $100 threshold and clearing cycle are met.

Who do I contact if my payout is delayed?

First check:

• That your account verification and tax forms are complete.
• That the 14-day cycle has passed.
• That no disputes or policy issues are active.
